DIY Song Flower Pot

Published on: Jun 13 2012 by margo

I don’t know how this idea came to me… I just love the look of handwritten quotes on just about anything! I bought this pot on sale at hobby lobby for $3.68, a can of spray paint and a sharpie. I knew right away that I wanted to use Regina Spektor’s On The Radio, and so this song lyric flower pot was born.

All you need is a can of spray paint, a sharpie, a flower pot, and a good tune, and you can make it too!

The song lyrics from On The Radio I used are my favorite song lyrics of all time:

This is how it works…

You’re young until you’re not

You love until you don’t

You try until you can’t

You laugh until you cry

You cry until you laugh…

And everyone must breath

Until their dyin breath

This is how it works…

You peer inside yourself

You take the things you like

And try to love the things you took

And then you take that love you made

And stick it into some…

Some one else’s heart

Pumpin someone else’s blood
