DIY Speckled Bauble Necklace

In about an hour I made this adorable new accessory! Remember that botched craft from last week? Well I turned the tables and was able to salvage my beads and make this cute necklace that I actually like better than my original idea! Here’s how I made it:

You Need:

Wood Beads

Acrylic Craft Paints (try to use colors that mix well together. I used pink, blue, and orange.)

Acrylic glossy glaze

Leather Cord

A disposable plastic tray or lid

Paintbrush

Scissors

Step 1: Place some paint in your tray and spread with a paintbrush

Step 2: Put your beads in the tray, and shake the tray around, rolling the beads through the paint until they are fully covered.

Step 3: Wait for the paint to dry and sip some of your favorite wine. (Our favorite part!)

Step 4: String your beads onto the cord and tie a tight knot at your desired length. I made mind about 20″ so that it can easily slip over my head.

I’m so glad I decided to keep my botched beads from last week’s craft day fail. Hope you enjoyed this little DIY!
