Photographing Children

Some children have the hardest time having their pictures taken.  I have met some that just cry as soon as a camera is in front of them.  I have also come across children who love to pose for the camera.  This can also be a negative if none of their pictures look natural.  I have found that the best way to get a child to loosen up during a shoot is to step back.  Let them run off and do their “kid thing.”  Then when they are in their zone, go and snap your shots.
