One of my favorite projects so far has been these yarn wrapped wine bottles. I found the tutorial at Penelope and Pip . It looked easy enough so I decided to try it for myself, and they came out great! It helped me and Carrie put all those empty wine bottles from past craft nights to good use.
Mix different shapes and sizes of bottles, as well as alternating color schemes to add a lot of visual interest. Our kitchen/dining area has a lot of grays and blue/greens so these will look great as part of a centerpiece for my dining room table. They also look great on mantles, windowsills, or bookshelves!
